World travelors who have touched my heart...

"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." ~Albert Schweitzer

Saul from Israel who became my brother in Kolkatta India. Without whom I might still be crying in a hole somewhere. Who took care of Nancy and I when we needed it the most.

Ben from Argentina. Who helped me through a very rough and long 20 hour drive through the horrible mountains of India. Who also switched seats with me when I got the junk one, while also videotaping my head bounce around like a bobble head as I slept. Who gave me beautiful memories and a reason to go to South America.

Fancy AKA Raymond from London. Who made me laugh even when I didn't want to. Who is the most fashionable straight man I know and who can do one hell of a southern accent..even when I beg him to stop...on a crowded train full of Indians...all day. I'm sure we'll see his name in lights one day.

Mark from the UK. Who was my first friend when arriving in the crazy big city of Ho Chi Min. Who shared his dorm room with me and stayed up all night talking like kids about life. Ok time to go to sleep, now go to sleep...ok now time for sleep..ok now. :) Who also had his camera stolen by hookers..gotta love that.

Asher and Richard from London. We traveled together through most of Vietnam. Memories include: crawling through underground tunnels, waterslides, rollercoasters, a boat cruise, jellyfish stings, an aquarium, crow whiskey, riding bikes through intense vietnam traffic, waiting out the typhoon, following the destruction of the typhoon (not so smart) and a delectable 9 course meal. They made me laugh through it all :) The little english muffins.

Remco from Holland. Who swam through trash infested waters while we were were waiting out the storm in Mui ne. Who was crazy enough to get a tattoo in Vietnam and live to tell about it. And who And who was my roomie and friend through it all.

Matthew and Bertrand from Belgium. Who were my traveling companions through Nepal. Who hiked through the jungle and slept in the wilderness with the thousands of giant bugs and wild pigs . Who gave me the courage to ride on top of the public bus with the nepalese men. Who were amazingly open, caring, and sweet.

Suze from the UK. A truly beautiful and free spirit. A former non profiter and newly made yogi. We spent 3 weeks together in Pokhara Nepal doing yoga, writing, eating great food, and meeting all kinds of charactors. A girl that can make even the unhappiest person smile.

Of course there are many people I didn't include that made my trip complete. I didn't forget you. :) It's a blessing to be able to share the memories with such wonderful people. You've helped me to realize that love can be found anywhere you choose to search for it. xoxo

Laws of Attraction

Some excerpts from the book "The Law of Attraction" by Abraham-Hicks

  • "If we were talking to you on your first day here we would say, "Welcome to planet Earth. There is nothing that you cannot be or do or have. And your work here—your lifetime career—is to seek joy. "

  • "I want to be the best that I can be. I want to do and have and live in a way that is in harmony with my idea of the greatest goodness. I want to harmonize physically here in this body with that which I believe to be the best, or the good way, of life. If you will make those statements, and then do not take action unless you feel good, you will always be moving upon the path in harmony with your idea of that which is good."

  • "Not only does the thought you are choosing right now attract the next thought and the next . . . and so on—it also provides the basis of your alignment with your Inner Being. As you consistently and deliberately think and speak more of what you do want and less of what you do not want, you will find yourself more often in alignment with the pure, positive essence of your own Source; and under those conditions, your life will be extremely pleasing to you. "

  • "Each and every component that makes up your life experience is drawn to you by the powerful Law of Attraction's response to the thoughts you think and the story you tell about your life. Your money and financial assets; your body's state of wellness, clarity, flexibility, size, and shape; your work environment, how you are treated, work satisfaction, and rewards—indeed, the very happiness of your life experience in general—is all happening because of the story that you tell. "

  • "You cannot get poor enough to help poor people thrive or sick enough to help sick people get well. You only ever uplift from your position of strength and clarity and alignment.

  • You are the only one who creates in your experience—no one else. Everything that comes to you comes by the power of your thought. If there are changes you would like to make, it will be of great value to begin telling a different story—not only about your body, but about all subjects that have been troubling to you. As you begin to positively focus, getting to feel so good about so many subjects, you will begin to feel the power that creates worlds flowing through you."
